5 Fall Hairstyles You Can Do in Under 5 Minutes

I am definitely not the first person you think of when it comes to “hairstyle variety.” I told my sister that I’m just too lazy – curling my hair alone is enough work for me! 😉 BUT I’m determined to do better. Especially considering how easy these fall  hairstyles are!! Seriously, all of them took less than five minutes – It doesn’t get much simpler than that.

All of my favorite hair products to use are linked in this post! I also have a tutorial on how I curl my hair here. 🙂

Now, lets get to stylin’!

Space Buns

I like to call these my space buns. A bit of a Princess Leia vibe, but with a little more edge. Just do a quick middle part, leaving some bangs down. Put two little sections into mini ponytails, then wrap them around and bobby pin into place! Ta-da!

Half French Braid

My half French braid is inspired by Olivia from oliviarink.com. She always makes it look amazing! So I figured it couldn’t be too hard. And I was right! It only took a couple of minutes to achieve this style.

Headband Bun

Here’s a little secret about me: I despise wearing my hair up! Because my hair’s so long and thick, if I wear it up for very long, I get a terrible headache. Plus I am not a fan of how round it makes my face look. Summer is a hard time for me!! ANYWAY. This is literally the easiest thing. Make a high pony. Twist it around and bobby pin into place, then wrap with a bandeau headband! Boom. Done.

Twisty Crown

The Kristianna naming strikes again – I call this a twisty crown! It helps if you add a little dry shampoo for texture, teasing each section until they’ve got some body. Then twist and bring them together, securing with an elastic!

A “Jenny”

I saved the best for last. This one has sentimental value! When I was little, I was obsessed with the movie Oliver and Company. So obsessed, in fact, that I would ask my mom constantly to do my hair “in a Jenny.” Finally she figured out that I was referring to the little girl in the movie – this is how she always wore her hair! For my whole life, this hairstyle has been known as “the Jenny” in my household! 🙂 Just pull back a portion of your hair starting 3-4 inches above your ears and secure it with an elastic. You can make it higher or lower depending on your level of sass that day! 😉

I hope you found at least a couple of new fall hairstyles to add to your autumn lineup! And if you wanna go a little fancier, check out these “glam hairstyles!” Be sure and DM me on Instagram if you find any hair ideas you’d like to see me try. ☺️

Candidly,

Kristianna
