The BEST Macarons in Dallas

There aren’t many treats I would break the bank for, but let me tell ya… macarons are definitely my kryptonite. I get some prettttty much every time I’m in Dallas! I lived there for almost two years, and I made it my mission during that time to find the best macarons the DFW area had to offer.

And I did.

Here’s a list ranking all of the places I’ve visited:

JOY Macarons

Truly the best macarons in Dallas. Their flavors are off the CHART! They always use the best ingredients and their staff members (at both locations) are so sweet! Plus it doesn’t hurt that the place is EXTRA instagrammable. Especially the Lower Greenville location – they have pink chairs and tables!!

Favorite flavor: Lemon

Bisous Bisous Pâtisserie

These guys are tucked away, a little hard to find in West Village. But once you see the striped awning, you know you’re at the right place! They have a plethora of desserts, but their macs are truly the star attraction. I love that you can get some delicious espresso while you’re there, too! Then take them outside to enjoy them on the patio that might *almost* convince you you’re in Paris. 😉

Favorite flavor: Coffee

Chelles Macarons

I first encountered Chelles at the Dallas Farmer’s Market. They have a cute setup inside the Market building (along with lots of other amazing restaurants and such – you should check it out!) and this girl cannot resist trying a new macaron joint. Plus they are $4 cheaper than Joy or Bisous Bisous! Their macs are gorgeous and BIG. They also have a location in Plano, so if you’re in North Dallas, you won’t have to travel so far to get your fix!

Favorite flavor: Fruity Pebbles

‘Lette Macarons

This place is a little out of the way – towards Fort Worth. But they have BEAUTIFUL macs!!  And one thing I really loved was how accommodating the staff was. When I told her I was going to be bringing them as a gift to my sister in West Texas (five hours away), she offered all the same flavors – only frozen! That way by the time I got to my sister’s, they were in perfect condition to be devoured!!

Favorite flavor: Sweet Wedding Almond

BROKE COLLEGE STUDENT OPTION: SPROUTS

If you’re anything like me, sometimes your taste buds write checks that your budget just can’t cash! SO. Do I have the solution for you! Head to your local Sprouts and check the freezer section. They have their own store brand macs for just $6! As much as I like to splurge on the fresh cookies occasionally, I can’t go around spending $25 on dessert ALL the time!! These are a good option for when you’re a little tight on money.
